Con-Serv® HYGIENIC SEAL® healthcare grab rail collection is fabricated from 32mm x 1.2mm, grade 304L, 18/8 stainless steel and assembled with a 50mm, 3 part machined brass screw on flange cover with 5 degree radius to comple with clause 6.2 of AS 1428.1-2001 for Design and Construction and available in the following finishes: Satin Supreme™, Polish Supreme™, Diamond Shur-Grip™ and colours of choice.

Tested by ETRS Pty Ltd for compliance to 1100 N mass in any position, without any permanent deformation, distortion or loosening of the fastenings.  Test report registration number QRNOO-2847.

Grab rails and shower support rails are installed to provide safe support for persons who require assistance in toilets as well as bathrooms and should comply on installation when fixed, to contribute to its ability to withstand the required 1100 Newton forced placed upon it.  Concrete or brick walls do not present a problem. If a building is constructed with either metal frame or timber it is useful to know the dimensions of the studs and noggings and the place between the studs.  Con-Serv® HYGIENIC SEAL® wall mount fitting have two screw holes and can be positioned and fastened at any angle to suit the stud or nogging.  TOGGLE BOLTS FIXED INTO TILES, PLASTER BOARD OR OTHER WATERPROOF WALLS ARE NOT SATISFACTORY OR SAFE.  Grab rails with HYGIENIC SEAL® flange must be fitted to a solid wall or other firm surface and installed by a qualified trades person.
